Mike is an accomplished healthcare executive, and passionate about creating operational excellence and efficiency that can deliver life changing care to patients.
Prior to joining the Geode Health founding team, Mike was General Manager at Cityblock Health, a venture backed provider of value-based care for urban populations. At Cityblock, Mike led the New York market through a period of exceptional growth, with a focus on patient outcomes and provider support in a rapidly scaling environment. Prior to Cityblock, Mike was COO of a Bain Capital backed wellness company through a period of rapid growth across the US and Canada, and eventual sale to Morgan Stanley Capital Partners. Earlier in his career, Mike was Division Vice President at DaVita, where he ran operations for 100+ dialysis clinics across Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana.
Mike holds a BA from Loyola University in Maryland and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He lives in Chapel Hill, NC with his wife and 3 children. He enjoys endurance events, and spending time outdoors with his family, preferably near the ocean.
